Edit 2: I got half a good session out of it and it got stuck on full speed again. There’s gotta be some way to correct this.
Edit: it seems to be working today after cycling the power and the play/pause button 5 times.
Hi. I just got the device delivered today and this thing only runs at FAST speed. Turned it on, tapped minus, it’s fast. Reset power, tap plus, it’s fast. Connect to wifi and remote control, it’s all fast, but there’s a tiny bit of slowdown when trying to change from fast to slow but it ramps immediately back up to FAST. Any suggestions or ideas? I got the device because it seemed quiet in the demo videos, but this thing is weezing because I can’t slow it down. None of the auto controls seem to make any difference. By fast i mean this is probably max speed. Thank you for reading.
Please contact our customer service team and they will ask for a video - then after verified, send a replacement under warranty. We will want this one back to inspect - we’ve had this issue 2 other times in the past and if it is the issue we think it is, and it relates to the small PCB that controls motor speed. Once, the PCB was defective, and once the cable that connects to it somehow became disconnected from a quick connect assembly. Sorry you’ve experienced it but we will get it handled via customer service team and they always make sure to send some extra free goodies when we have to do a replacement like this.

Thank you. I did actually contact customer service the same day. Got a response back yesterday asking for short video of the issue and said they’d send a replacement if it’s indeed faulty. So I’ve sent my short video. Just waiting now.
At this point I’ve had two instances of normal operational behaviors that ran for maybe 10 minutes before runaway max speeds. So I know the device works well when it’s actually working, which gives some kind of peace of mind… So looking forward to a replacement.
Sounds more likely that this particular cable quick release has become disconnected. We don’t feel comfortable asking our customers to open the machine to reconnect it. We would rather confirm it ourselves and send you a new one. I will make sure they respond quickly to you.

Edit: customer support has asked me to return the machine with the power adapter as the behavior was deemed “unusual” and they want to inspect it. So i will not be making a home repair attempt.
If you can post an image that illustrates what cable you mean, I can make some attempt at reconnecting. Would not be my first home repair job, for what is worth, and I know better than to electrocute myself.
We’d rather just inspect it ourselves. You need to remove the top or bottom portion, depending on how you hold it, which also requires removing the silicone part because there are two screws underneath. It’s very difficult to get the whole unit, and I could go into more detail, but it’s better that we just check it. I think they’ve already sent you the new one. Sorry about the issue!
Support gave me a shipping label so I’ve already shipped it out. If I was getting the replacement and keeping the original, then I’d be getting in there. Oh well. I’ll update here when the replacement arrives.

I received your machine and went to work troubleshooting it, but I cannot get it to exhibit the behavior it exhibited in your video; It works perfectly here. I turned it on and off at least 50 times, moved the speeds up and down, etc.
That means it’s not the encoder, but it seems it’s likely the quick connect cable that connects the PCB to that motot encoder. It’s very frustrating because that is like a $0.25 connector. I’m sure that once I open it, it’s not even the connector that’s broken. It’s that when we assembled it, someone didn’t push those pieces together all the way because they click into place. I will further inspect it.
Thanks again for sending it.

That unit sounds like troubleshooting hell. Hope you can discover what went wrong. The new unit works, so I’m happy
