DominusHunt over on the r/Autoblow forum introduced the idea of using the CockDock parts unattached. He was making a milking table (where one lies down flat, on one’s tummy), but here I’ve used the concept for two other more common poses: standing, and lying on one’s back. Ive also mounted the CockDock rails without the main CockDock triangular plate, using 4.05mm Shaft Collars to hold the rods in place (link below; you will also need 1.5 Hex Key to tighten the (very fiddly) screws that the collars are attached to the rod with.

I also bought extra rails from Amazon, they are identical to those supplied with the CD, and are cheap:

To drill the holes in the wood, I used a 7/64 inch drill bit, and used the two posts on the CockDock’s triangular plate as a guide to ensure that the holes in the wood were the right distance apart, and vertical.

The horizontal system is the easiest, and most foolproof.

The vertical system requires something that allows you to lower and raise the system, to allow you to get out under the rods when you want. Ive used a 100mm x 100mm Lab jack Stand:

The experiences Ive had with most systems have been simply amazing, the best Ive had so far with the VG2, and the orgasm I had with the vertical system was one of the most exceptional ever.

I still want to try PrinceAster’s vertical system (gooseneck) more accurately. I had tried it, and wasnt impressed, but afterwards realised that he uses 12g wire between the gooseneck and the VG receiver. I had been using shock cord, and that might have introduced the extra movement that was making my edition of the system drift around too much.

Kudos on your wonderful find, the version designed to go over the bed is really interesting.

For the over-the-bed version, what kind of stop or guard do you use at the end of the rails to keep the tray from falling off?

Do you think it would be possible to drill into this type of tabletop ( Amazon.com : SAIJI Height & Angle Adjustable Lap Desk Laptop Stand for Bed | LightWeight Foldable Portable Laptop Table for Couch Sofa Chair Floor : Office Products ) to make a more compact version, or would that make it too wobbly and unstable?

Alternatively, what about using a table designed for medical beds ( Amazon.com: Vaunn Medical Cart Adjustable Overbed Table with Wheels – Rolling Bedside Table for Hospital, Portable Standing Cart & Laptop Desk for Bed, Couch, Wheelchair : Health & Household ) wouldn’t those be more stable?

At the end of the rails I use Shaft Collars (there is a link to the ones I use in my original post).

That’s an interesting idea to use the over-the-bed tables.

As to your first option, anything that rest on the bed itself wouldn’t work, I think, too much movement.

The second of your options sounds more promising. As to how drillable they are - I imagine they shouldn’t be a problem as long as the material of the tabletop is plastic, which most of the ones Ive seen are. To achieve a steady drilling experience, I think you would need to temporarily remove the table top from the stand and clamp it down on a large table.

Good luck - it’s always interesting experimenting in this area. The testing of the ‘product’ is yet another excuse to get down to business!
