Hey guys we released a new feature that was not obvious a few days ago and after we saw some guys have already used it and it works, I decided to make the soft launch announcement here!
If you are a VacuGlide 2 owner, you likely know that you can create your own custom stroking routines and save them. A lot of you wanted more: you wanted to be able to share them with the community and download modes created by other people. Now that is a reality!
The feature is bare-bones at this time and has only the most basic functionality of sharing your mode directly to the community modes area and downloading the modes shared by others.
We will later implement a voting system and show some numbers of downloads or uses so that you can be clearer about which modes the community likes versus which they don’t.
We can see that thousands upon thousands of modes have been created, but only a few have been shared with others. Your modes are private by default, but you can go within the library and publish them directly to the community modes area. That is an action that you must affirmatively take.
If there are some modes you created that you think are amazing and that other guys will appreciate, put your Vacuglide online and go to your modes. Publish a couple of the best ones!
One important note is that you cannot change the name or change anything about a mode that you have already created. To change the name to something that would be appropriate for everyone in the community, you must duplicate the mode you’d like to share. Once you duplicate it, you can make changes to the name, description, and any other actions you’d like to add or remove from the mode. Once you save it, the new mode will permanently have the new name, and you can share it with the community, and the old one will still remain.
Please keep that in mind!
