# Community Scripts - Force unique names

Hello,

LOVE the new community script page. Just as a kind of digital hygiene, can we enforce unique names when people upload to the community library? We have a LOT of duplicates that are just copies of other scripts. If we could enforce at least a unique name maybe we could cut down on it. Even better, if your devs have time for it, you can probably check the entire repo for scripts with the exact same instructions and disallow them. I love being able to copy someone else’s script, change it and reupload but the sheer amount of flat out duplicates is just making it messy.

This is a feature we set live without any guardrails at first, just so you guys could use it, but we certainly know it requires us to go back and make some changes.Thanks for reminding us. I have been on a factory trip these days. We will look into this right away.

We have plans for some improvements on this feature and it’s on the roadmap to release sometime next month maybe faster if possible.
